To me wrapping someone’s Christmas gift is just as fun as it is to pick it out! Since we’ve been stuck at home this holiday my creative mind has really started to go into over drive. So I am flexing my creative muscles this season with some original Christmas wrapping ideas.
There are a lot of unique gift wrapping ideas that utilize items you already own or can be bought at a nearby craft store. The best part about DIY gift wrapping is that you can customize it to the person you are giving it to, making them feel extra special! Thats why this year I created my very one holiday tags to put on each person’s present. I use Canva for almost all of my printed crafts. So gather your crafts materials or simply turn on your printer because I’ve made a few to inspire you to throw on Christmas music, and get ready to make opening presents so much fun!

Leftover ornaments
Instead of the traditional bows, try something a little more seasonal, like pine branches, leftover ornaments, chuncky knit, or festive twine, or even branches right from your Christmas tree. The reason I use simple wrapping paper is because the basic background will make your accessories pop!
The most important part is to have fun! Think about the person you are gifting and add a little something to reflect them on each box. If it’s a present for your chef friend maybe wrap it in the New York Times cooking section secured with a spring of Rosemary. Or if it’s for your little artists add a paintbrush to their bow! Adding these little touches will really go a long way this year! xx Emily
