What are Lobster Bites? The next best thing you will ever make, that’s what. As long as you follow my simple and delicious recipes (and of course using Pretzilla and The Lobster Shop) these Lobster Bites will be the next hit appetizer, side dish, or main meal. I’m sharing both mayo and butter recipes below.
A lobster roll is a sandwich native to New England. Thus growing up in New England I have had many lobster rolls and have finally perfected my own spin on the classic recipe. Traditionally, lobster meat is served on a grilled hot dog-style bun slathered in butter. There are two ways to make/enjoy a lobster roll; Connecticut way or the Maine way. Or hot with butter or cold with mayo. Being from CT, obviously my favorite is hot with butter BUT on a summer day, I do enjoy a cold mayo lobster roll with a crisp white wine. Below I’m giving you both of my lobster roll recipes. If you love them please let me know in the comments below or show some love on my Instagram page!
I have to mention that you cannot make great lobster bites without the right ingredients. Let’s start with Pretzilla. Pretzilla is non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher, and allergy-friendly soft pretzel line that makes the best of the best pretzel products. They’re made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! They’re completely addicting and melt in your mouth. So it was a no brainer when I tasted them for the first time and decided to add the next best thing that melts in your mouth; lobster.
Secondly, you need to make sure you’re getting the best of the best lobster. The Lobster Shop is the only place I get my lobster from. They provide high quality American seafood, shipped for free & delivered fresh to your door. They are my Maine source for my lobster needs.
Hot Lobster Bites Ingredients
1 lb of cooked lobster meat
6 tbs Butter
1 Celery stalk finely chopped
1/2 tbs of chopped dill
1 Green Onion finely chopped
Freshly Ground Salt and Pepper
A squeeze of fresh lemon
Steps
Heat the Oven to 350
Melt 1 tbs of butter in the microwave
Brush the pretzilla bites with melted butter and put in the oven for 2-3 minutes. Just enough to warm them and give a little crunch on the bottom. Once you take them out of the oven, add provided salt.
Slit the pretzilla bites down the top of mimicking little hotdog rolls.
Cut the lobster meat in dices. Heat 4 tablespoons of the butter in a medium pan over medium-high heat. Add the lobster, celery, salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. You want it warm all the way through. Take it off the heat, sprinkle the lobster with the dill, green onion, and a squeeze of the lemon juice and mix it well.
Place the pretzel bites, cut side up, on a plate. Divide the lobster mixture among the bites and sprinkle with extra dill, salt, and squeeze of lemon juice. Serve hot lobster meat is hot and the pretzel bites are warm!

Mix lobster, celery, lemon juice, scallion, parsley, dash of hot sauce and Mayo in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper and add more mayo if desired.

Heat oven to 350F.
Coat @pretzilla pretzel bites with melted butter and bake until just warmed (about two minutes). Sprinkle with topping salt included in the box. Cut along the middle of the pretzels (making it look like a hotdog roll)
Fill with lobster mixture and enjoy!
