I just returned from my trip to Asheville N.C. and it was amazing. For one, it was mommy trip thus no kids, lots of cheese and wine, and waking up whenever we wanted to (which was still 6:30 am but whatever). Asheville is only 2.5 hours from Charlotte and yet gives you such a different kind of experience. It gives you the mountains, rolling hills, and all the local artisans while offering five star hotels and restaurants.
Eat:
Let’s start off where to eat. We got an early reservation to curate tapas bar. You MUST go! The food is amazing!! This was in no way sponsored, we paid all of $160 ish dollars for eight tapas, three drinks, one dessert, and three coffees. Which was very filling and satisfying! I’ll let the photos do the talking.
I took a break at this point to check out the restaurant/charcuterie bar. If you can’t make it to curate shop these items to get the full experience.
Alright back to the food….
Sleep:
It was all so delicious and when we rolled out of there we were ready to head home and do some yoga at our log cabin. I shit you not when I say we were on top of a mountain in a log cabin filled with approximately 20 bears. Carlonia’s Morning was amazing! So clean and presitne. I don’t have a picture of the outdoor kitchen and jacuzzi but they were the best part!! But I think the cross door will make up for it, look below to see what I mean.
Shop:
Every and anywhere in the downtown area is a must. Just let yourself get lost in the streets of Asheville. The Asheville Bees Charmers honey tasting bar was my favorite shop (I know I’m getting old) but you can shop my widgets below to get the full feel of Asheville NC without traveling there.
