Happy October first! I was going to hold off on decorating until after Canadian Thanksgiving, but I decided against that the moment I saw my Halloween themed calendar.
The bat trend is very fitting this year and I was able to find these bat in the Target dollar deal bin. $3 for 100 bats!!! If your target has already ran out you can get a pack here. Remember the don’t worry about hanging them perfectly, you want to spread them out and mix up sizes as you go along.

Homegoods is always my favorite place to go for unique holiday finds. These plush pillows are so cozy next to our fireplace. And the Hey Boo lumbar pillow looks great next to my throw basket. Now that the mantel is finished I think I’ll move onto the dining room! Stay tuned for those details!
