Shrimp salad and Old Bay scream summer! So why not make the best summer snack using them and my favorite pretzel bites. Below is a great summer time recipe that you can make for an outdoor get together or happy hour!
- 1 pounds of cooked shrimp
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, best quality such as Hellman’s or Duke’s
- 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoons white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup finely diced celery
- 1/4 cup of cilantro
- 1/4 cup of red onion
- Salt and Pepper
- Pretzilla bites
Chop all ingredients (including the shrimp). In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Old Bay, and wine vinegar. Stir in the cooked shrimp, celery, onions, cilantro, and just a dash of salt and pepper. Taste and add more of anything you deem necessary (I alway add more old bay). Chill in the refrigerator for two hours.
Warm Pretzillas according to directions. When cutting the pretzel bites, cut down the center like a lobster roll. Add the shrimp salad mix and serve to enjoy!
