A clean home is essential for maintaining a healthy and comfortable living space. We are currently renting a home that was built in the 80’s and they haven’t touched since. So I have to work extra hard to ensure this house is kept clean. That’s why I stick to a daily cleaning schedule which helps prevent the buildup of dirt and grime and keep the home looking and feeling fresh.
To start, it’s important to make a cleaning schedule and stick to it. This can include daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Daily tasks may include making the bed, wiping down kitchen counters and surfaces, doing dishes, and sweeping or vacuuming floors. It’s also important to clean up any spills or messes as soon as they happen to prevent stains and odors.
In addition to these basic tasks, it’s important to regularly deep clean your home. I cannot live without my handheld Dyson, click here to shop, and steam cleaner, click here to shop. This can include cleaning windows, scrubbing bathrooms, dusting surfaces, and washing floors. By setting aside time for these tasks regularly, you can ensure that your home stays clean and comfortable for you and your family. Sundays are typically the days that I set aside for those deep cleaning days. Don’t forget that your kids can and SHOULD help. Giving them cleaning tasks will only help them become clean and organized adults.
Remember, keeping a clean home doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You can maintain a clean and healthy living space by breaking down tasks into manageable chunks and sticking to a schedule without sacrificing too much time or energy.
