Fall Salad

After a very glutinous Canadian Thanksgiving, I decided Myles and I needed something healthy to eat so I whipped up my favorite Fall Salad.  It was filled with so many tasty and healthy ingredients  you’ll want to serve it at your next get together. I loved the addition of spiced pecans to the salad it is something I never think to eat. I know you’re going to love it! 

Never underestimate dried cranberries. I usually have them on hand for the kiddos or a quick snack but they add the perfect amount of bitter sweet to this salad.   This salad can be the main dish as it has herb chicken breast and if you have vegetarian in your family, you can simply take it out. It presents beautifully too, so keep this one saved for the next time you are entertaining and need a salad recipe.

6 cups of Organic Mixed Greens

1/2 cup Dried Cranberries

3 pealed Tangerines

1 cup of Spiced Pecans ( or you can make your own using this recipe)

1/2 cup Goat Cheese

1/2 cup Herbed Organic Chicken

Balsamic Dressing

Mix all ingredients together and serve the dressing on the side (I always allow my guests to dress their own salad) enjoy!
